No Ipod is complete without stems and seeds in my opinion!!
The original studio version can be found on Solar Circus’ Step Right Up album which you can probably find on the net. The songs writer Tom Donovan also played the song with his other bands Freudian Slip and Splintered Sunlight.

I’m guessing YouTube doesn’t allow links or I’d link you a great version and show. Check live archives and search Splintered Sunlight Stems and Seeds show date 2004-04-20. One of my favs!

observationman July 13, 2010 at 12:46 am: The reason nothing will ever come close to a Dead show is because bottom line, it was a free for all! All the festivals and shows today are regulated and that really makes a huge difference.

The generation who are following them now, have nothing in common to why we attended the shows 20 or 30 years ago. They are wannabees that are just looking to party.

I still listen to the dead, …alot. But I am unsure if I would ever go see them again. The memories I have of the old school shows are so fond, I would hate to taint them with todays attendees of bratty little, ADD, instant gratification seeking kids.
